The FAYC Early Stages program encourages students to play, work together, and build confidence, all while inspiring a passion for music, drama, and movement.
Musical theatre inspires children to dream, explore, think, and connect through imaginative storytelling on stage and in the classroom. Our teaching artists help students bring their stories to life, encouraging them to dream about who they are and who they may become. We are dedicated to providing a supportive and creative environment where students of all ages can grow, express themselves, and build confidence in their abilities.
Each semester, our Early Stages performers dive into excerpts from a different musical or movie, discovering the joys of storytelling, music, and movement. Through engaging activities and creative lessons, students build confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills.

The term concludes with an in-class demonstration led by FAYC teaching artists, where students showcase their progress and what they’ve learned through songs and dances inspired by The Wizard of Oz.
