The FAYC Musical Theatre program provides comprehensive education for students moving from our Early Stages program, as well as for those who are taking classes for the very first time! Our training in singing, acting, and dance is designed to develop students' skill sets while helping them become confident, well-rounded performers.

In addition to fundamental training, FAYC teaching artists offer education in all aspects of theatre, including but not limited to: character development, scene study, audition preparation, overcoming performance anxiety, theatre terminology, etiquette, and discipline.

At the end of each semester, students will participate in a showcase that highlights excerpts from a popular Broadway musical, featuring select songs and scenes inspired by the show. While this is not a full-scale production, the performance provides a valuable opportunity for students to demonstrate the skills they have honed and the progress they have made throughout the semester.
